This weekend was 'Show Us Your Toys' in Hamilton. An awesome weekend were anything you wanted to show you could and golly what a range! They also held a huge tattoo and body art contest............That's right I saw a stage and couldn't help myself! I was recently lucky enough to have been tattooed by the amazing Nifty at Artworx Tattoo in Ararat. He does the most incredible portraits and that was just what I was after. A portrait of my Grandfather, and aircraft mechanic in the war. I entered two sections, Best Black and Grey and Best Portrait and came first in both!!!!

Broad Betty Drives a Tractor
It's show time!!! Last week was the local agricultural show so I took the opportunity to drive my chaps tractor in the grand parade. For those interested in tractors it is 1936 John Deere Model D built on the 7th of August 1936. My Chap spent years restoring it and it was an honour to be allowed to drive it.
Tractors like these where used during the WWII buy the Land Army girls. So I pulled out the over-alls and head scarf and did my best impersonation of one of these amazing women.
